Timelines duplicated from timelines on Joysticks are broken

  • Create a simple timeline animation

  • Assign it to an axis of a joystick

  • Duplicate the timeline

  • The keys on duplicated timeline are tied to the joystick and cannot be edited, except by changing the value of the joystick handle.

  • Expected: The duplicated timeline is an independent timeline, untethered to any joystick.

Hi , I've been checking this out. When you duplicate a timeline you use on the joystick, the new timeline is not connected to the joystick. If you delete the first animation you used on the joystick, you will see that you can edit the duplicate animation without problems. What happens is that once you create a key in a property of an animation that you use on a joystick, that property is connected to the joystick, and you will no longer be able to edit it in other animations, whether duplicate or new. It is the way the joystick works.
